50@50 PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday 2^ndMay 2015, his 50^thbirthday, paraplegic pharmacist Tim Hames will attempt a 50 mile handcycle ride to raise money for the Matt Hampson Foundation. Since his cycling accident in June 2011, Tim has been keen to get back out on the roads under his own steam. Thanks to the generosity of the Matt Hampson Foundation, who support people whose spinal injuries occurred due to sporting accidents, Tim obtained a handcycle last autumn and has since been busily training for this ride. The route planned is from the Foundation’s base in Leicestershire back to Balance Street Pharmacy in Uttoxeter.
